The Jim & Juli Boeheim Foundation.
WHERE: Atunyote Golf Club at Turning Stone Resort & Casino
Call the Turning Stone at 1-800-771-7711 and ask for the Jim Boeheim Golf Classic overnight room block on June 29 & 30. The rates are $139.00 in the Tower and $259.00 at the Lodge.
WHO: Jim Boeheim and David Shiroff will be available for interviews at noon (for an interview with Coach Boeheim, contact Mike Bristol, official publicist and marketing manager, at 315-383-7932 cell)
Also expected to participate in the tournament:
- Dr. Daryl Gross, Director of Athletics, Syracuse University
- Chris Gedney, a consensus All-American tight end who lettered for the Orange football team from 1989-92. During his eight-year career in the NFL, Gedney played for the Chicago Bears and Arizona Cardinals
- Roosevelt Bouie, All-American basketball player at SU who played from 1976-80. Also played thirteen seasons in Italy and was named to the Syracuse University All Century Team in 2000
- David Shiroff, President and CEO, Metro Mattress
- Sports marketing students from Syracuse University and students from other colleges to assist the foursomes (26 students total)
FORMAT: 12 p.m. lunch - interviews available during lunch

The Jim Boeheim Golf Classic to include six challenges (prizes to include: cash, trips with the SU basketball team, iPods, etc.):
- Three Tier Break Challenge (similar to a challenge on the Golf Channel's "Big Break")
- From 50 yards away, try to break the ball through an SU logo on three different tiers of materials
- SU Blanket Challenge
- Drive the ball from 250 yards out, try to land it on the SU blanket
- Golf Dome Targets
- Chip the ball at targets on a par 3, accumulate points by hitting the targets
- Longest Drive
- Chipping out of the sand
- Closest to the pin
